We are looking for a Management Analyst to join our growing company! This position supports Department 40 and Command Front Office at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia, PA. This position is a leading member of the organization and supports the program and leadership.
Duties:
  • Track utilization of Government labor NWAs and Cost Reimbursable funding.
  • Financial and Program Metrics Organization and Analysis
  • Track financial expenditures, develop and manage database of financial documents.
  • Provide metrics support, including dashboard, and cockpit charts, as well as other specialized financial reports, in order to track expenditures, reconcile to corporate database (CDB), and remedy cost overruns and labor rejects.
  • Prepare customized financial reports for site managers utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and/or data obtained from ERP, and shall perform cost, and variance analysis to track productive and overhead spending, as well as forecast future trends.
  • Provide assistance with the development, and tracking of Plan of Action, and Milestones (POAMs) for related programs, and projects.
  • Provide strategic planning, and analysis of requirements to assist in developing a fully Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) relevant to auxiliary machinery systems; propulsion systems; sail, hull & deck machinery systems and power systems.
  • Coordinate, and support progress meetings. Tasking includes developing, updating, and maintaining Earned Value Management (EVM) tracking, and metrics, as well as tracking project financial data, action items, installation status, and delays. EVM tasking would support Government point of contact identified in the technical instruction.
  • Provide assistance with the improvement of processes, and policies in support of programs, and
  • strategic planning efforts. Tasking includes development of Risk Management Plans; requirements management design; Test and Integration Plans; hardware testing; Configuration Management Plans; Material Plans and schedules for major programs.
  • Collect, review programmatic and technical updates and streamline status inputs from supporting In-Service Engineering Agents (ISEAs) for program report submittal.
  • Collect, analyze, prioritize and format Task Planning Sheet (TPS) submissions for future year funding request to the following platform managers: Carriers, SEA21, Submarines, Surface Fleet, Combatants Acquisition, Cross Platforms and PEO Ships.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for command and department level data calls supporting key metrics.
Requirements: 
  • Bachelor's level degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration.
  • Three (3) years of experience in a related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis or financial/cost analysis. Experience should include collecting, reviewing, and analyzing data in order to make recommendation and developing solutions to organizational challenges.
  • Working knowledge of the Naval Sea System Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, and Fleet organizations is desired.
  • Must be a US Citizen
