This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Financial Systems Analyst to contribute to the success of our organization while working in a dynamic and challenging environment.Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and evaluate business and technical processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Collect and analyze financial data to support decision-making processes and ensure accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain financial reports to track schedule and cost performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and implement effective database structures.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of financial systems, tools, and databases as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements and participate in their implementation.
  • Support the preparation and presentation of financial briefings and reports to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Interim Secret or Secret clearance is required
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting and minimum of three (3) years of experience in a related field, involving financial management, financial reports, and cost performance tracking using relevant tools and databases.
  • Working knowledge of the Naval Sea System Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, and Fleet organizations is desired.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficient in using financial management tools and software applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings and recommendations effectively.
