We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our growing company! This role will support the US Department of Interior, National Park Service in Denver, CO.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Uses BI Software (Power BI, SSRS, Power Query, and Tableau) and SQL to create or assist others in building visual dashboards and reporting solutions that provide meaningful insight to operational results.
Builds data visualization dashboards and reports. Works with Managers and Project Managers to easily visualize finance and budget, project milestones, and contract data from multiple applications in a single platform.
Designs and develops ETL processes using Power BI, Microsoft SQL Server SSIS, or other related tools and technologies.
Codes complex database scripts and ETL packages that meet data flow requirements.
Leads data analysis sessions with the user community to capture and define data requirements clearly, completely, and correctly.
Gathers and translates business requirements into clearly understood documentation, ERD diagrams, data models, data flow charts, and data dictionaries.
Troubleshoots BI environment problems and tunes for performance. Diagnoses and resolves application bottlenecks and performance issues. Defines and enforces coding standards, design styles and best practices.
Provides end-user training, technical demonstrations, and presentations to Denver Service Center employees and partners.
Requirements:
Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience serving as a Data Analyst/Business Intelligence professional using industry standard tools including Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft OLAP, Hyperion, Cognos, Business Objects, or other enterprise-grade tools.
2 years of experience architecting, developing and/or managing the implementation of Business Intelligence solutions using Power BI and Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS / SSAS/ SSRS,
2 years of experience in participating in analysis sessions with the user community to capture and define data requirements clearly, completely, and correctly.
2 years of experience identifying, analyzing, and translating business requirements and rules into intuitive analytical solutions, business scorecards and management dashboards
2 years of experience working well in multifunctional teams including IT specialists, Business Subject Matter Experts, and Business managers.
Work Location: On-Site at Denver Service Center. COVID-19 Health Condition Status may permit telework at times.
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 DOE
