rrts is Hiring an Operations Supervisor Near Kenosha, WI

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading and supervising a group of employees. This position will also be responsible for evaluating performance of employees, delivering feedback, coaching and counseling and disciplinary procedures. The Operations Supervisor will observe and analyze overall efficacy of the department and ensure operations are running efficiently. This position will report their findings to upper management as needed and will ensure the department meets previously set goals. Essential Responsibilities: Supervise, train, schedule, coach, counsel and discipline employees Evaluate employee performance Report on department metrics to upper management Develop strategies and methods to increase metrics and performance Perform administrative tasks such as overseeing inventory, motivating employees and data entry Responsible for elevated customer support Demonstrate team leadership Dedicated to meeting and/or exceeding the expectations of internal and external customers Consistently exhibits courteous, respectful, non-defensive and appropriate communications and presents information in a concise and understandable format Ensure projects are completed successfully and in a timely manner Support worker communication with the management team Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations Run a safe, injury/accident free workplace Develop solutions to both simple and complex problems that may arise Analyze opportunities and recommend ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs Supervise effective compilation and collection of information and data to enhance growth Monitor all administrative functions as per requirement Ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies Works cooperatively with others in the accomplishment of joint tasks and common objectives Contributes to a positive work environment, fosters collaboration and provides a tangible contribution Skills/Qualifications: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) Ability to delegate responsibilities and provide leadership and training to personnel Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work with minimal supervision Problem-solving skills Project management knowledge Experience/Education: High School diploma or equivalent 2 years operations, management and leadership experience Physical Requirements: Frequently: Stand, sit, walk, reach with hands, talk and hear. Occasionally: Climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and smell. Lifting requirements: Regularly lift and or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 80 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities include color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment: Frequently exposed to moving vehicles, outside weather conditions and vibrations. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, high precarious places and extreme temperatures. The noise level in the work area is usually moderate, with occasional louder noises.
