RRM Design Group is currently seeking an RRMer to join us as a full-time Associate Engineer to join our Civil Engineering team. The Engineer will provide assistance with the preparation of engineering plans in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D, including basic design work and engineering calculations, in collaboration with the senior staff

YOUR ROLE LOOKS LIKE:

• Support management for public and private land development projects, including schedule, budget, communication with clients, and overall project design, under the supervision of the Project Manager.
• Monitor the performance of junior staff in staying within scope and budget.
• Oversee overall project budget for managed projects.
• Direct and oversee CAD and design work of junior staff.
• Assist in the preparation of task budgets within a proposal, under the direction of a Project Manager.
• Prepare the report and direct the activities of junior staff in gathering data.

Requirements

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3-5 experience years of related work experience.
• Experience in Civil 3D.
• E.I.T. Certified.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enjoy working in teams.

ABOVE & BEYOND:

• Some work experience in architecture, engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, or planning firm.
• Relevant work experience is desirable.
• Experience in hydrology, utilities, drainage systems, and sewers is a plus.
