RRD Chicago is currently seeking a Financial Analyst within the Corporate Controller’s Group to assist in the corporate financial close as well as the consolidation of all entities across the globe. This role will require attention to detail and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the review & analysis of consolidated financial statements.
• Responsible for key Corporate Accounting technical areas, including assisting in the preparation of Corporate Segment financial Statements.
• Assist in the monthly consolidation of financial results to ensure results are prepared in accordance with US GAAP and RRD policy, including the monthly reporting package.
• Work closely with business units’ finance staff, External Reporting, Internal Audit, Corporate staff departments, external auditors, and other key members of the Corporate Controller’s group.
• Provide analysis and insight for other assignments and ad hoc projects as needed, including acquisitions, restructuring activities, audit, impairment analysis, and requests from senior management.
• Assist in the interpretation and implementation of accounting policies.

• Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities and deadlines, with attention to detail and an ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Excellent problem solving, communication, & interpersonal skills required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (preferred) or Finance
• CPA strongly preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years of related work experience required, including experience with financial statements and reporting.
• Experience at a large, multi-national company or at a public accounting firm strongly preferred.
• Strong technical skills (Microsoft Office products) required. Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and SAP experience a plus.
