RPMStaffing Professionals is Hiring a Packer Near Durant, OK
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and sort meat for processing by hand or by using the equipment.
- Work with machinery for injecting, sorting, tumbling, slicing, dicing, mixing, grinding, cooking, chilling, freezing, packaging, and sizing.
- Inspect meat and ingredients for defects.
- Apply quality assurance practices, hygiene and sanitation practices, and safe work policies and procedures.
- Learn to operate various industrial food processing and packaging machines.
- Learn and understand the concepts of HACCP, SOP, and GMP.
- Rotate to different production lines and/or equipment.
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent
- Ability to work 40-50 or more hours per week.
- Ability to work weekends as needed.
- Ability to wear protective smocks, hats, gloves, sleeve guards, hairnets, rubber boots and, at times, cut-resistant gloves.
- Ability to perform routine repetitive work.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently for several hours to the entire shift.
