The position: This position will preferably reside in our corporate headquarters in Austin, Texas. We are interested in the candidate who will lead by example to build a world class industry recruiting team.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

  • Lead recruiting strategy, talent pipeline development, outreach executive search, strategic sourcing and recruiting initiatives.
  • The position provides the opportunity to develop the strategy to ensure hiring top talent is a systematic business process and supports our value proposition internally and in the marketplace.
  • Acts as the leader within the recruiting department for both Operations and Corporate talent acquisition.
  • Develops initiatives and programs focused on building our brand as a market-leading property management company that supports professional growth/advancement of its associates
  • Will manage 2 Managers and a recruiting team of 8

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading the strategic direction of our talent acquisition capabilities including technology solutions, recruitment marketing, recruitment strategy, campus and community relations and high-volume recruitment
  • Develop recruiting strategy for respective business units and lead team in implementation.
  • Build and maintain knowledge of competitive target companies, keep abreast of industry changes and trends. Coach and develop team members.
  • Work with the leadership team to develop a strategic vision for delivering talent in an efficient and timely manner to meet the on-going needs of the business
  • Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy for targeting top, diverse talent
  • Maintain awareness of competitor practices, industry trends and recruitment standards. Continually stay current on new and developing sourcing avenues.
  • Utilize continuous improvement practices to streamline and improve efficiency on our existing recruiting processes
  • Ensure compliance with all external regulatory and internal policy recruiting and hiring requirements (EEO tracking, background screening, pre-employment drug screening, etc.)
  • Proactively work with Management and business leaders to develop pools for future business initiatives
  • Ensure the team is maximizing the applicant tracking system
  • Improve interviewing processes within the recruiting team and management groups
  • Leverage and improve key recruiting channels such as employee referrals, associations and diversity channels
  • Develop metrics to measure success
  • Experience implementing a culture of accountability and results
  • Improve the associate experience and help to drive internal movement of existing associates
  • Define and implement a consistent Recruitment and Selection service delivery vision, and model/strategy for creating competitive advantage through effective processes
  • Promote a culture of creativity and accountability within the talent acquisition team

Qualifications

  • Prefer industry experience or similar
  • Experience in multi- site , multi state environment
  • 7 years Recruiting Team leadership with 5 or more years in a high growth environment
  • Proven track-record of successfully building sourcing and recruiting strategies for a high-growth company
  • Proven track record of successfully building high-volume candidate pools of talent.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a passion for metric-driven results
  • Track record of strategic partnerships with senior leadership
  • Innovative, creative problem-solving mindset, with ability to thrive in a rapidly growing, fast-changing and highly collaborative environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and people leadership skills
