Royal Technologies is Hiring an IT Help Desk Technician Intern Near Hudsonville, MI
We are growing and looking for a talented IT Help Desk Technician Intern to join our team! Royal is a diverse manufacturer of injection molding, urethane foam and assemblies. We serve the automotive, furniture, and consumer products industries.
The Help Desk Technician will provide front-line support to our internal customers and work on a variety of technology projects. The position is on-site at our Hudsonville facility. We are looking for someone who can work 20 hours/week. Responsibilities:
- Monitors and maintains the organizational computer system's daily performance.
- Provides technical support, troubleshoots and resolves urgent technical issues, while responding to help requests in person and by phone.
- Identifies and escalates complex issues to management. Compiles daily or weekly issues log for management.
- Compiles daily or weekly issues log for management.
- Installs and repairs computer hardware and software, cleans computers, and runs diagnostic programs.
- Writes user manuals and trains staff as needed.
- Progress towards an Associate's degree in an IT field or a combination of experience and IT certifications
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Chrome OS, Microsoft Windows, and VMWare Horizon is a plus, but not required.
