Royal Oak Enterprises, LLC is a leading manufacturer and marketer of branded and private label charcoal, firelog and firebuilding products. In addition, the Company also manufactures railroad cross ties, which strengthens our relationship with our suppliers in the charcoal business. Given the recent acquisition of the new business segment of Pine Mountain and Diamond brands, many changes are in process at the company requiring enhanced leadership.

Position Summary:

The Packaging II Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities among workers in packaging, storing, and shipping.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in packaging products and materials for storage or shipment.
• Studies production order to ascertain type and quantity of product, containers to be used, and other packaging requirements.
• Inspects products prior to packaging and returns rejected products to production departments.
• Observes packaging operations and inspects containers to verify conformance to specifications.
• Starts, adjusts, and repairs packaging machinery/notifies maintenance department.
• Trains workers in operation of equipment.

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience a plus.
• Experience in a growing, acquisitive Company a plus.
• Ability to work effectively with departments/production facilities/associates across Company.
• Proactive mindset that seeks continuous process improvement.
• High-energy individual with a passion for the Company and this role.
• Ability to multi-task, balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Strong focus and commitment to deliver results.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated clarity in spoken and written words.
• Ability to work well as part of a team

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time (8 hours minimum)
• Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs. continuously during shift, including twisting, climbing, turning, or bending with or without product/ equipment in hand
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to work in extreme environmental temperatures
• Casual manufacturing environment; Comfortable attire appropriate for manual labor environment
