Cold Storage Warehouse Order Selector

Duties & Responsibilities

• Agility and ability to constantly bend, reach, and lift.
• Proficient in the operation of a Raymond Electric Pallet Jack.
• A minimum one-year experience as an Order Selector in a distribution center environment preferred.
• Ability to be certified on the electric pallet jack in accordance with safety regulations.
• Ability to meet production quota.
• Ability to do battery swaps as necessary.
• Must be able to arrive as scheduled and be available to schedule as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned. Make and assume other duties and responsibilities required or assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Mental alertness to safely navigate an electric pallet jack.
• Ability to safely lift cases of produce weighing 75lbs or more.
• 1 yr. experience in order selecting/pulling.
• Conversation fluency in English - must be able to pull orders by Voice Select.
• Must always maintain a valid OSHA card.
• Basic math skills.
• Agility and ability to constantly bend, reach, and lift.
• Good communication skills.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Steel-toed shoes are required.
• Safety outer wear required, such as vests or safety clothing.
• Other PPE may be required, including but limited to safety measures implemented in response to Covid-19.

Working conditions

Work environment is usually fast paced with frequent short deadlines and regular instances of critical or unusual situations requiring a high level of adaptability and flexibility. Field of work includes operating an electric pallet jack for extended periods of time while pulling orders. Ability to withstand a work environment with constant temperatures of forty degrees or less.

Physical requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, walk, talk, and hear. The employee must frequently stand and walk. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Scale: $15.00 - $32.500 per hour Incentive Pay
