We are seeking a Box Truck Driver (Amazon Relay) to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).

Requirements: CDL B Driver with at least 1 year of box truck experience or recent CDL driving school graduate. (CDL A a plus)

Clean CDL and Medical Card. (Prior conduct may not disqualify candidates)

Top pay scale for this position is $0.85/cents per mile (includes safety bonus) Top scale is reached after 36 months. Pay Raises at 6, 12, 24, 30, 36 months. Previous experience can allow for improved starting pay scale

Responsibilities:

• Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues before and after every trip
• Comply with FMCSA driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods), as well as with company policies and procedures
• Safely maneuver vehicles into loading/unloading positions, alley docking, etc.
• Collect, verify, manage delivery documents, materials, and instructions (BOLs)
• Report defects, accidents or violations to your license
• Maintain a valid driving license with no recent moving or driving violations (both personal and commercial)

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a truck driver operating a 26’ box truck
• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (Garmin GPS, ELD apps and tracking, etc.)
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc. )
• Ability to physically move/lift up to 50 lbs. when/if necessary
• Safely operate pallet jack and lift gate when necessary
• Experience working with Amazon software and policies a plus

Full-time (with Part-time hours available)

Pay:

Up to $0.85/cents per mile (starting $0.65/cents per mile)
