The product team is the beating heart of Rover: building and maintaining the systems and tools that our customers and employees use every day. We are accountable for the scalability, sustainability, and profitability of Rover as a business, and for leading the transition from a scrappy startup to a grown-up company. This role will specifically focus on payments, financial reporting, and related infrastructure. You will need to ensure that all the money goes to all the right places, that Rover can prove it, and that bad actors can’t get to it. You will partner with Engineering, Analytics, Operations, and Finance to prioritize, execute, and test features, tools, and partnerships to increase reliability and customer satisfaction with Rover payments.This role will focus on three things: 1.Improving payments technology (build and/or buy), and iterating on policy to better serve customer needs.2. Supporting financial reporting infrastructure.3.
