Roseville Area Chamber of Commerce is Hiring a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR Near Roseville, CA

The Roseville Area Chamber is seeking a Business Development Coordinator with excellent organizational and communications skills to support the Director of Membership in executing the administrative functions that keep the Membership and Advertising Sales Department running smoothly and efficiently.

The successful candidate will bring significant project management, organizational, and interpersonal skills to the table. The coordinator will need to be creative, energetic, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and projects at any given time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Outreach to new businesses regarding membership benefits
  • Create and maintain the Member prospect list in Growth Zone
  • Support the onboarding of new members and advertisers through various tasks (e.g., sending Welcome Emails to new members)
  • Support Engagement of new members in their first year with the Chamber by conducting New Member Check-in calls, visits, and emails
  • Assist in corresponding with potential advertisers and coordinating advertising schedule, and deadlines; follow up and maintain appropriate records.
  • Follow up on outstanding membership and advertising invoices
  • Compose and prepare correspondence, reports, and documents such as advertising stats reports
  • Conduct site visits to members to promote retention.
  • Assist with the membership application process.
  • Maintain contact with members to assess their needs.
  • Encourage and promote the benefits of the Chamber to members.
  • Drive membership attendance at events, to help with retention efforts.
  • Manage the membership database and maintain its accuracy.
  • Assist in preparing for the new member orientation
  • Coordinate Plaque Presentations at monthly events
  • Attend and support various Chamber events as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Skilled in Word and Excel.
  • Strong Organizational Skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience working within a non-profit setting.
  • Experience in Sales and Customer Service.
