Rose Quarter is Hiring an Audio Visual Technician Near Portland, OR

You can become a part of the team behind the team as our Audio-Visual Technician, you provide support with audio, visual, signage, cable and television to a wide range or Rose Quarter end users, business and events. The Rose Quarter includes the Moda Center, Annex and Veterans Memorial Coliseum facilities.

Day-to-day:

  • Set up, monitor, and strike AV equipment for sports events, meetings, presentations, and various on campus functions.
  • Provide game day support, maintain and repair signage and scoring equipment.
  • Assist and instruct clients in the accurate usage and operation of audio-visual equipment.
  • Support the maintenance and installation of in-house AV systems.
  • Repair and maintain campus AV equipment as assigned.
  • Support the ongoing maintenance of exterior pylons and LED reader displays.
  • Connect with internal team members/manager day to day needs of the department and call out issues when appropriate.
  • Work schedule can be dynamic at times and will be based on campus events/projects.

We’d like to hear from you if you:

  • Must be 18 years or older and possess a valid driver’s license
  • Minimum one (1) year of A/V experience.
  • Experience working with IT, Broadcasting and Production teams is preferred.
  • Experience with setup and support of large events in indoor facilities is preferred.
  • Ability to work varied schedule, including evenings and weekends, in addition to becoming comfortable with heights.
  • Ability to tackle and diagnose issues with electronic devices.
  • Efficient and detailed knowledge of audio-video equipment repair.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of electronic components.
  • Possess knowledge of audio-visual equipment.
  • Possess technical and digital literacy.
