RFS has an opening for a Sales Intern, who has excellent communications skills and will be working under our RevOps team. The Sales Intern will have the opportunity to learn sales terminology, business acumen, and best practices to build client interest in our accounting and financial products.

Responsibilities:

• Perform sales calls to potential clients to identify, evaluate, and recommend business solutions
• Conduct background research on potential clients to identify business needs
• Engage and build rapport through prospecting techniques
• Use best practices for email, phone, and social media to connect with client prospects
• Coordinate virtual appointments with clients and Client Growth Consultants
• Update documentation and sale records
• Utilize technology such as CRM and sales software's to generate leads
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned

Qualifications:

• Currently an undergraduate senior pursuing a Bachelors in Business, Communications, or Accounting/Finance
• 0-1 years of sales or customer service experience highly preferred
• Available for a minimum of 16 hours per week and ability to commute to our HQ located in Rockville, Maryland
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-directed and able to work without supervision
• Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
• High energy and ability to work independently and on a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook)

This Sales internship will provide an opportunity to convert to a full-time position depending on individual performance.
