Rosauers Supermarkets Inc is Hiring a Category Analyst Near Spokane, WA

Description

Hey there marketing mavens! Are you a data-loving, creating-thinking, promotion-planning whiz? Do you have a knack for analyzing market trends, identifying consumer behaviors, and developing out-of-the-box promotional ideas that make heads turn? If you answered yes to all the above, then we’ve got the perfect opportunity for you! We’re on the hunt for a Category Analyst to join our team and help us take our various category marketing strategies to the next level. So, if you’re ready to dive into a role that’s equal parts strategic planning and creative execution, then read on!

At Rosauers Supermarkets, we're looking for a strategic thinker who can take our promotions and advertising to the next level. Someone who can analyze data, understand our target audience, and develop innovative campaigns that make our competition green with envy. As a Category Analyst, you'll be a key member of our merchandising and marketing teams, responsible for creating and executing promotional category campaigns that drive engagement, brand awareness, and ultimately, sales.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute promotions that are so good, customers will be begging to shop in our stores. You’ll use your creativity, data-analysis skills, and a dash of magic to come up with promotions that speak to our target audience and drive results.
  • Analyze data to identify market trends, consumer behaviors, and opportunities for killer advertising campaigns. You’ll know what’s hot and what’s not – and use that knowledge to create campaigns that get people talking (and buying!)
  • Brainstorm promotion and advertising ideas with the team - think outside the box, inside the box, and upside down! You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure your campaigns are flawlessly executed - because we all know the devil is in the details.
  • Keep up with the latest marketing trends and technologies - and not just because you secretly love attending marketing conferences (okay, maybe that's part of it). You'll be the go-to person for all things advertising and promotions, keeping the team up to date on the latest and greatest in the marketing world.
  • Keep track of category performance metrics - think of it like keeping score, but with graphs and spreadsheets (so much more fun!). You'll use data-driven insights to make recommendations for future projects and be able to explain the "why" behind your decisions.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create visually stunning promotional materials - because let's face it, pretty pictures and catchy slogans are what grab people's attention. You'll work closely with our designers to create ads and promotional materials that stand out from the crowd.
  • Make recommendations for future category promotions based on data-driven insights - and then do a happy dance when your boss approves them.
  • Take ownership of your category campaigns like a proud parent - and then watch with glee as they grow up to be successful marketing campaigns. You'll constantly be thinking of ways to improve our advertising and promotions and won't rest until we're the talk of the town (in a good way, of course!)
  • Be ready for any challenge that comes your way, whether it’s related to your main role or not. You never know, it might just be your chance to discover a hidden talent or make meaningful contributions to other teams to in a totally unexpected way! (Other duties as assigned.)

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for growth and development within the company. If you are a self-motivated individual who fits this role, we encourage you to apply today!

Requirements

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelors in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3 years of experience in advertising and promotions, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities - you're not afraid to take risks and try new things.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills - you're a team player who can work cross-functionally to get things done.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to whip up spreadsheets, reports, and presentations faster than you can say “pivot-table.”

If you're ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role where your ideas and strategies can make a real impact, then we want to hear from you! Apply now and let's take our marketing to the next level.
