Room & Board is Hiring a Customer Service Specialist | Customer Support Associate Near Centennial, CO

Whether a Room & Board customer is picking up an order at our delivery center, interacting with us over the phone or opening their door to us, we take great pride in making them feel comfortable. As a Customer Support Associate with our home furnishings Delivery Center in Centennial, CO you are the heart of our welcoming and professional atmosphere. You will work in an office setting to coordinate details associated with customer pick up and deliveries, being mindful of both the customer's needs as well as the efficiencies of the delivery team as you create a seamless experience for each and every customer.

Location: 6951 S Blackhawk St #900, Centennial, CO 80112

Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday 7:30AM-4:00PM

  • You focus on providing the right solution. You carefully communicate details and inform the customer and vendors about our service and delivery processes as you look to anticipate any obstacles and challenges they may encounter or to provide viable solutions to resolve an issue.
  • You believe in teamwork. You work in close partnership with retail, delivery and repair team members to uphold our commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • You embrace technology. You’re comfortable learning custom programs and tools for routing and navigation, order information, product specifications, etc. to effectively communicate with customers and retails/delivery team members and vendors.

The experience and qualifications you’ll bring:

  • At least 5 years of professional customer service experience. Previous customer experience within a delivery or retail environment preferred
  • A passion for customer service and true appreciation for the impact our exceptional customer service has on our brand and our industry
  • Proficient with computers and new technologies

  • Confidence in navigating solutions without a process document or the need to “check with your manager”
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and the ability to make appropriate judgment calls
  • Strong learning agility with the ability and willingness to learn new things
  • Laser-like focus when it comes to details
  • Intuitive with an innate ability to anticipate needs
