Come, love what you do.To provide support to our growing business, Room & Board have a great opportunity for a Business Analyst on our business systems team. You’ll experience a business analyst role rich in breadth/depth as you work in close partnership with our business leaders. You’ll join a talented team (12±) of BAs, in-house developers and project managers who are experts in leveraging SAP and other business applications to ensure we have the best solutions in place for our business.

Please note: This is a hybrid role with an expectation of 2 days in the office to support the collaborative nature of our work environment.

You’ll share your passion and talents with us in the following ways:As a business Analyst

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the assigned business groups and the IT functional areas to plan and manage small and medium sized projects.

  • Provide functional support for the systems that support assigned business groups and identify opportunities to better leverage technology to address business needs.

  • Partner with business and technology teams to implement, enhance and maintain systems.

  • Participate in all aspects of the application lifecycle including gathering requirements, creating design specifications, testing and end-user education

  • Manage resolution of assigned production incidents including researching, tracking, and reporting

  • Work collaboratively with peers and partners to prioritize work, produce deliverables, manage schedules and objectively facilitate escalations.

  • Collaborate with peers to develop and maintain internal processes, procedures, and documentation

  • Rigorously manage vendor relationships to set clear expectations and outcomes within an established budget.

 The qualifications & experience you bring:As a business Analyst

  • 5 years of experience providing best-in-class business analysis for different aspects of the business (HR, brand/marketing, merchandising and product development, supply chain, etc.)
  • Experience working within an Agile development framework and with JIRA software strongly desired, but not required
  • Experience as a BA within a retail environment desired, but not required
  • Understanding of Service design concepts and process desired, but not required
  • Understanding the impact of system changes on the customer experience
  • Relationship-builder and collaborator skills with the ability to drive consensus
  • Self-starter, strong problem solving skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills including presentation creation/delivery and meeting facilitation
  • Permanent authorization to work in the United States without corporate sponsorships
