We are currently seeking a Audit Intern in Orange County, CA.

Requirements

The Audit Intern is responsible for learning and applying technical skills and working as part of a team carrying out audit tasks under close supervision from senior team members.

Responsibilities:

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Strong analytical, technical and research skills

· Ability to balance multiple priorities and complete assignment within time constraints and deadlines.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to quickly adapt to changing client and business dynamics.

· Establish and maintain client relationships.

· Demonstrate integration of firm mission, vision and values in day-to-day behavior and actions

· Perform other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications:

· Sophomore to Senior College Student

Desired Skills:

· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

· Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and cohesive notes related to specific files and clients.

· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

· Must demonstrate mathematical aptitude, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

· Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent; and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

· Must be able to identify problems and formulate logical solutions.

· Basic knowledge of GAAP, generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures and techniques.

· Comfortable in a fast paced environment that requires flexibility and responsiveness

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, ProSystem fx Engagement software (or equivalent software)

Job Specifications:

· Minimal local travel

· Flexibility to work weekends and extended hours during peak busy seasons.
