Job Description Fleet Manager Indianapolis,IN The Adour engine has several variants and operators worldwide including the United States Navy. The Chief of Naval Air Training (CNATRA) are responsible for the production of future fast-jet pilots for the US Navy, utilizing the T-45 Training System. Dream Big and Make an Impact In this role, you will responsible for the production of future fast-jet pilots for the US Navy, consisting of the Boeing Goshawk aircraft and the Rolls-Royce Adour F405-RR-401 engine. You can learn more here Key Accountabilities: 0-6 months horizon – fleet removals based upon fleet configuration and ops tempo plus communication with stakeholders. 6-months – longer-term scenario analysis and business recommendations via Aftermarket Change Board (ACB) Ownership of the Aftermarket Change Board (ACB) to obtain stakeholder buy-in for changes to executive business signals. Recommend changes to piece-part requirements as a result of known or anticipated changes to fleet needs / ops tempo through established provisioning processes Directing / recommending where shortage items should be sent for optimum fleet support. Provide recommendations associated with asset build for optimum life in consideration of the MRO output pipeline Track and report on key performance metrics such as total removals, total production, plus other metrics (reported at bi-annual RCM or as-needed). Provide recommendations for the assurance of achieving key performance metrics targets. Age Exploration Bulletin (AEB) candidate identification, tracking, management, and status reporting to achieve strategic objectives. Make recommendations to the Operations team for utilization of conditional assessment candidates. Provide snapshot of fleet health / status reports on a regular / as-required basis. Contribute to the creation of the monthly (or as-needed) Program Management Briefing pack. Basic Requirements: An Associate’s degree with 10 years of experience OR; A Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience OR; A Master`s degree with 6 years of experience OR, JD/PHD with 3 years of experience OR, In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident Preferred Requirements: Ability to turn data into management information to allow robust decision making Ability to navigate through a range of database systems Gain un-paralleled customer understanding and intelligence in order to anticipate and act upon changing situations and operational plans Broad understanding of the MRO and Operational processes / activities to support effective MRO and fleet planning Lead or participate in various customer meetings associated to operational performance Experience of production planning and control processes MS Office or equivalent working skills.
