SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

If you can relate to our mantra "Be Excellent, Treat People with Decency and Have Fun" in your job, we would like to hear from you!The Senior Software Developer designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software for the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) F-35 IT program support contract that provides knowledge-based, information assurance and cybersecurity IT services to the F-35 JSF Virtual Enterprise (JVE) network in support of the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO). Services include program management, enterprise performance management, enterprise architecture, implementation of emerging capabilities and requirements, life cycle management, operations & maintenance, enterprise data management, service desk support and IT training.Must have a BA/BS degree and 6 years experience. An allowable substitution for the bachelors degree includes an additional six years over the minimum experience required (shown below) for a BA/BS degree or an additional four years over the minimum experience required (shown below) with an AA/AS degree. The Senior Software Developer responsibilities include: 

• Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software.
• Troubleshoots production problems related to MS Dynamics, IIS, and software applications.
• Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements.
• Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
• Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
• Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
• Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
• Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools.
• Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
• Acts as team leader on projects. Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of other software developers on development team.
• Hands-on troubleshooting back-end servers and applications during outages.
• Participates in development of software user manuals.
