Miami Lakes Athletic Club is a 48,000 sq. ft. facility that offers a variety of exercise and workout equipment suitable for any level of athleticism. It is located in the beautiful Miami Lakes, Florida and has been one of South Florida's premier fitness and wellness centers since 1982. Our staff is dedicated to improving the "quality of life" of our members and the community of Miami Lakes.

JOB PURPOSE: To provide customer service to all members and potential members by using their knowledge of the Miami Lakes Athletic Club products and/or services to connect with customers and

generate sales.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Handling member relations and potential customers

* Initiating and closing new membership sales

* Giving tours of the facility, being knowledgeable about the facility & it's amenities

* Meeting sales goals and creating sales leads through prospecting, networking and member referrals.

* Must have a firm understanding of the programs and services the Athletic Club provides

* Provide follow up with new members to continue relationship

* Assist members with payments, updating Credit Cards, as well as contact information

* Assist with keeping member balances up to date

* Responsible for member retention

* Making cold calls, following up with sales leads

* Collaborate w/ co-workers in all areas of sales

* Maintain documentation of their sales and member contracts

* Assist Accounting with any areas concerning membership accounts

* Provide commission reports at the end of each month

* Contacting members for any concerns that may arise

* Always maintain a high degree of professionalism

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

* There are no supervisory responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS

* Must be highly motivated, an effective communicator and possess a passion for health and fitness

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

BA/AA Degree

Minimum 2 years of sales/marketing experience within the health and fitness industry

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE

Bi-lingual preferred

Highly organized
