Roers Development, Construction and Property Management is Hiring an Executive Assistant Near Fargo, ND

Job Title: Executive Assistant

Reports to: CEO

Supports: CEO and the Leadership Team 

Job Summary: 

The ideal candidate for this position will have an interest in supporting leadership with typical Executive Assistant duties as well as some legislative and legal responsibilities such as maintaining work, personal and legislative calendars, and committee notes. Paralegal experience would be a plus.

This position provides executive administrative support to the CEO and leadership of Roers. Our mission at Roers is building success and stronger communities, and this position is key to fulfilling this daily.

The candidate will be a team player focusing on ensuring tasks are met on all-important levels, core values are maintained with internal and external contacts, and excellent communication is provided. Experience with administrative and customer service in a fast-paced environment is required. While providing a premier experience through support to the leadership team, this candidate will be able to be flexible and open to change as projects arise. 

Primary Duties: 

  • Assist the leadership team with providing administrative support and embracing our company's core values of Respect, Community, Experience, Expertise, Partnership, and Opportunity. 
  • Provide prompt and accurate performance of administrative and word processing duties as assigned including drafting letters, memos and emails.
  • Manage and maintain the Executive's contacts, emails, calendars, appointments, and meeting agendas/schedules/minutes.
  • Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records for CEO.
  • Manage travel arrangements and coordinate itineraries to include booking flights, hotel accommodations, arranging transportation, meeting schedules, contact information, etc. 
  • Compile and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and action lists. 
  • Provide telephone coverage for the leadership team and handle such calls in a professional manner. 
  • Assist in the planning and organization of annual events under the direction of marketing. 
  • Coordinate monthly board meetings. 
  • Arrange food and beverages for various group meetings when needed. 
  • Other duties as assigned by the CEO or Leadership Team.

Qualifications: 

  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience 
  • 3-5 years minimum of administrative experience. Executive administrative experience is preferred. 
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment. 
  • Excellent customer service skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to respond quickly, accurately, and professionally to demands and requests from customers and employees. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. 
  • Experience with teleconference, webinar, and video conferencing software 
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills. 
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Teams and Excel 
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism when dealing with confidential information.
