Rodgers Townsend is Hiring an Email/Web Developer Near St. Louis, MO
Overview
The Email/Web Developer is responsible for the agency’s email marketing success and will code, build and test all email communications.
Responsibilities
- Utilize HTML/CSS and email marketing best practices to create and code interactive experiences for email
- Develop/modify email templates and existing campaigns
- Partner with producers, art directors and other internal and external developers to create emails
- Contribute to the continued modernization and evolution of the brand
- Apply the best practices in email development, email compliance regulations, and accessibility
- Perform Quality Assurance
- Troubleshoot HTML, CSS, and other performance issues
- Proactively work with teammates to improve processes and work method for greater efficiency
- Perform coding and database maintenance tasks as required
- Create complex email templates with mobile responsive functionality
- Assist creative team to push boundaries on design possibilities
Qualifications
- 2 years in HTML/CSS development
- Experience with email development and marketing automation technology.
- Experience with email quality assurance (Litmus, Email On Acid, or similar)
- Working knowledge of FTP (file transfer protocol) and moving files from the desktop to remote servers
- Node.js, Command Line Interface (CLI) and Foundatin Framework experience a plus
- Superior presentation and communication skills
- Solution-oriented, assertive and resilient
- Critical eye for detail
- HTML banner development or video capabilities a plus
