Rocky Mountain Primary Care is Hiring a Medical Receptionist Near Lakewood, CO

Description

 Rocky Mountain Primary Care Family Practice has an immediate opening at our Lakewood office for a full-time Medical Receptionist (being BILINGUAL-Spanish is desirable) to be part of our patient care team. We are looking for someone who is professional, competent, compassionate, and attentive to the needs of our patients; someone who understands what it means to provide exceptional customer service. If you have a positive attitude and really enjoy working with the public, then you will have a significant impact on the success of our practice. You can make a difference!

  • Full Time. Must be available for an 8-hour shift between 7:00am and 5:00pm and Saturday between 7:30am and 5:30pm.
  • Minimum of one year of experience working in a medical office or a Medical Administrative Assistant Certificate is highly preferred
  • High school diploma

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Greeting patients with a smile and friendly introduction
  • Answering the telephone with a pleasant voice
  • Taking thorough phone messages
  • Obtaining necessary information from patients
  • Scheduling appointments
  • A variety of other clerical duties. You will never be bored!

Requirements

 Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Fluent in Spanish is a plus
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
  • Computer proficient with good keyboarding skills
  • Knowledge of correct grammar, spelling and punctuation
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Flexible
  • Comfortable with change
  • Ability to work well in a team, take direction, and be proactive
  • Familiarity with NextGen EMR is a definite plus
