Rocky Gorge Animal Hospital is a 24-hour small animal/ exotic emergency clinic, general practice and pet resort.

We are looking for:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the veterinary emergency and critical care field. They will be driven to help implement policies and procedure, ensure a high standard of patient care and focus on associate engagement. 

What you’ll do:

• Plan, organize, and manage the daily flow of the emergency department, as well as prioritize patient care
• Manage accuracy of obtained histories, medical record keeping, invoicing, patient discharges, etc.
• Ensure patients receive quality care and proper documentation is complete
• Ensure documentation is accurate and complete
• Collaborate with Managers and team mentors to ensure proper onboarding of new team members
• Work closely with the General Manager regarding personnel, staffing or clinical challenges

• Perform initial screening of client concerns, ensure excellent client experience
• Ability to drive the service and client service process
• Continuous expansion of knowledge and skill set of self and team

Who you are:

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Animal Sciences, Veterinary Technology or a related field preferred
• Certified Veterinary Technician a plus
• Previous management experience required
• Prior veterinary experience required, experience in Emergency Medicine required
• Ability to inspire, teach, multitask and be a highly functional team member
