Rockbridge Area Health Center seeks a full-time behavior health counselor to function as part of the integrated primary and behavioral health care team responsible for providing evidence-based counseling for patients.

As a counselor, your day will consist of patient screening, assessment, treatment planning, on-going counseling, and crisis intervention for patients aged 11 to late adulthood. Additionally, you may assist in coordinating care as needed for other conditions. RAHC believes better outcomes are achieved when you treat the whole person, through patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work, PhD/PsyD Licensed in Clinical Psychology, registered Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Current LCSW or LPC license in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Cannot be sanctioned under Medicare or Medicaid
• Basic Life Support Provider Certification
