Roberts Filter Group is Hiring a Laser Operator Near Coatesville, PA

Job Summary:

The Laser Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining laser machines to perform the measuring, cutting, and production of processed materials within a fast-paced, changing environment at the Roberts Filter Group fabrication facility.

Responsibilities:

· Program and operate laser machine to produce specified work product.

· Process work orders according to mechanical/technical drawings and specifications.

· Review product drawings and make minor revisions where necessary to ensure proper laser operation.

· Manage and adhere to production job schedules.

· Follow facility and machine safety protocols.

· Perform ongoing laser maintenance, calibration, and cleaning as required.

· Perform work on other industrial machines such as Waterjet, Punch Press, and Brake as required.

· Inspect and measure finished products to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded.

Competencies:

· Blueprint reading

· Laser operation and maintenance.

· Tolerance Interpretation.

· Mechanical aptitude.

· Adherence to facility safety police and procedures.

· Ability to use tape measures, micrometers, and digital and dial calipers.

· Flexibility to perform shift work and overtime when needed.

· Punctuality and attendance.

Requirements:

· 1 year experience working with lasers in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

· Ability to read mechanical and technical blueprints and documents.

· Prior experience with measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers.

· Ability to work Monday to Friday 6:30am-2:30pm shift plus overtime when needed.

· Strong mechanical aptitude.

· CAD experience a plus.

· Proven record of regular attendance and punctuality.

· Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

· Ability to handle physical workload.
