Job Summary

The Accounts Payable objective is to help develop the organization's financial well-being by providing financial and accounting services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Adhere to the Roberts Communities Core Values Platform and Policies and Procedures Manual
  • Avid - process invoices, Avid inbox clean up, research, batch, etc.
  • Process weekly Expense reports
  • Home Depot payments
  • Utilities ACH Setup
  • Process e-checks
  • Refund requests
  • Referral requests
  • Check Mail, send invoices to Avid
  • New vendor setup
  • Researching potential invoice issues, being the primary contact for vendors/community managers/Scott about invoice payments
  • Preparing weekly AP spreadsheet for Senior Accountant's approval, pay approved invoices
  • Pacific Office service invoices management
  • Invoice allocations in Rent Manager
  • SBR Avid queue
  • SBR Reimbursements (Blue Cross Blue Shield, Guardian, Wex)
  • Assist Controller as needed

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Ability to make high volumes of calls into current and potential customers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Professional phone presence when talking to customers
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with MS Office-Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Physical Activities: Constantly sit, use hands, talk or hear
  • Lifting Requirements: Up to 10 lbs.
