Robert Half is Hiring a Medical Billing Specialist Near El Segundo, CA
There is a dynamic organization in the Healthcare industry is looking for an ambitious, focused Medical Biller Collector with excellent technical abilities. This Medical Billing Specialist will be responsible for billing insurance companies for services rendered including charge entry. The Medical Billing Collector will be tasked with insurance follow up via phone and through online web portals. The right person for this role must have 2 years of experience in Medical Billing and Collections.
Requirements- Prefer 1 years experience in medical billing or within the revenue cycle
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proven knowledge of explanation of benefits (EOBs)
- Insurance Billing experience
- Deep understanding of Insurance Follow-up
- Insurance Collections experience
- Medical Insurance Billing experience
- Accurate, swift, data entry abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
- Healthcare practice management software experience preferred
- Microsoft Office experience preferred
