Robert Half's client, an international company is seeking an Internal auditor, which is a key member of the finance team. Our client is well-known for their amazing culture and benefits.
Key responsibilities
- Complete annual internal compliance audits at locations across the U.S.
- Manage time, workload, budget, etc. of each audit, and prepares all final paperwork to be presented to management
- Evaluate the effectiveness of established policies, procedures, operations, and internal controls in achieving the Company’s mission and goals, as well as safeguarding company assets, and create recommendations to improve deficiencies
- Assist in mapping and documentation of processes to identify key risks and integrity controls
- Collaborate with the Accounting Department to work with outside auditors in undertakings to help facilitate their work. Assist with special projects requiring analytical and risk assessment skills
- Perform audit tests to identify fraudulent transactions
RequirementsRequirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA HIGHLY preferred
- 3 years related audit experience in public accounting, industry or both
- Knowledgeable of US GAAP
- Great interpersonal skills, able to interact with internal and external customers
- SAP experience desired
- Some domestic travel required (approximately 1 week a quarter)
