They specialize in supporting technology-driven Founders who are dedicated to addressing challenges faced en masse, holding firmly to the believe that creating a positive impact is crucial for achieving financial success. As part of their commitment to giving back, they generously donate a portion of their gains to create scholarships for students inunderrepresented communities. Responsibilities and Duties:Assist with the financial oversight of the firmthe company outsources all accounting work to third party firms. They have a fund administrator for our funds, special purpose vehicles and an accounting firm for the GP entities and management company. You will oversee each of these accountants on a daily basis on things like: capital calls, paying management fees, cash reconciliation, and bill pay.You will maintain shadow books of all funds and reconcile to the books and records maintained by third-party service accountants.You will also assist in maintaining financial model at the management level, oversee the annual audits, maintain the Schedule of Investments for each fund, and work with our fund administrator to ensure accurate quarterly financial statements.You will maintain the portfolio company data collection and monitoring tool to support investment decision makingSupport the Investment team on investment due diligenceCoordinate and manage outsourced third-party financial and legal due diligence firms to conduct diligence on target portfolio companiesDevelop Finance as a Service to Portfolio CompaniesStrategize, create and implement a finance portfolio support service alongside the firm’s Finance and Operations teamSupport the Finance and Operations team on day to day operational activities including:Maintain firm’s compliance manual, training and implementationMaintain the firm’s compliance monitoring servicesLiaise with the firm’s outsourced Human Resources team to maintain compliance with local and federal employment laws and regulationsTax optimizationWe also want this person to implement the firm's tax optimization strategy alongside the Director of Finance and Operations.
