Description A Full Charge Bookkeeper has become available with one of our clients. You will monitor audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, and financial statement preparation as the Full Charge Bookkeeper. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will also supervise the clerical staff. Accounting professional who thrives under tight deadlines with minimal supervision this could be the Bookkeeper role for you if you are self-driven and organized. How you will make an impact- Put subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirements together- Enter Accounts Payable- Produce cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.- Produce monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents- Supervise monthly accounting close- Business license and gross receipts reporting- Capable in credit card management and reconciliation- Manage sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments- Prepare cash flow projections, as needed- Lead Accounts Receivable- Secondary assignment when necessary- Register budget transfers Requirements - Ability to meet deadlines- Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment- Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills- Self-starter and strong ethical standards- Sales tax experience- Solid understanding of bank reconciliations- Knowledge of journal entries- Highly organized and self-motivated - 5 years of related experience - Relevant accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred- Detailed and have the ability work independently- Excellent verbal, written, and social skills Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
