The Email Marketing Manager (Salesforce) is a client facing role, who will work on some of the agency’s biggest CPG and Retail accounts. This role will be a key stakeholder in the development of emails from receipt of creative assets, through campaign setup, and ultimately deployment, using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This includes coding HTML emails, amending code to enable dynamic content, testing functionality and rendering, executing test sends and revisions, and managing approvals. Also required is the ability to prepare subscriber lists and schedule deployments through the Marketing Cloud application. The position will be a contract position supporting one of our larger retail accounts.

Your Responsibilities:

• Owns the email campaign creation, testing, and deployment process using SFMC (content builder, journey builder)

• Performs campaign and benchmark reporting, insights, and analysis with recommendations to stakeholders

• Interacts and collaborates with clients, team members and 3rd party vendors on campaign-related communications, strategy around email best practices, and ensuring emails are following brand, CAN-SPAM, and accessibility guidelines.

• Consult & discuss data requirements with stakeholders

• Build complex email automation and engagement programs

• Building Responsive HTML email templates

• Writing Ampscript to solve dynamic content requests from client

• Manage A/B testing

• Ensure quality & timely delivery

• Execute all email campaigns and monitor results

• Tracking/Data Extensions/Data filters

• Monitor & ensure data quality

• Automation Studio (SQL activities, data extract, FTP etc.)

• Write SQL queries if necessary

• Landing pages (building pages for campaigns, using smart capture form capabilities

would be ideal)

• Working knowledge of audience builder

• Consult on database hygiene and management

• Create and maintain data extension segments

• Create and maintain proof lists, seed lists, and suppression lists
