Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to lead and manage our accounting department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial information and providing support to the organization’s leadership team. The Accounting Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department and ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately, timely and in compliance with relevant accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and maintenance of all financial records and reports, ensuring that they are accurate and timely.
• Manage the day-to-day activities of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, preparing financial reports and providing recommendations to management.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
• Provide financial guidance to the organization's leadership team and other departments, ensuring that they have the information and resources necessary to make informed decisions.
• Manage and mentor the accounting team, providing leadership, training, and development opportunities.
• Participate in the development and implementation of new accounting systems, processes, and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance;
• Master's degree or CPA designation is preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in accounting or finance, including 2 years of management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting software.
• Experience with financial reporting, financial analysis, and budgeting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
