Robert Half is Hiring a Customer Service Representative Near San Marcos, CA

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers, providing exceptional service and resolving any inquiries or concerns they may have. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, possess strong communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding product features, pricing, availability, and order status.
  • Assist customers with placing orders, tracking shipments, and processing returns or exchanges.
  • Resolve customer complaints or issues by investigating the problem, identifying the root cause, and implementing appropriate solutions.
  • Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and technical support, to ensure prompt and satisfactory resolution of customer concerns.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services to customers.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to provide informed recommendations and assistance to customers.
  • Strive to achieve and exceed individual and team performance targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is desirable, but not mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to handle challenging customers with empathy and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in using customer support software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.
  • Positive attitude, team-oriented, and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
