Description
We are currently seeking a Server Backend Developer for a contract role, responsible for designing and developing business applications aimed at enhancing the stakeholder experience. The role will involve using open-source technologies, ensuring best practices, and delivering maintainable, modular, and high-performing code.
What You'll Do:

• Implement features using Java or Scala.
• Own projects and manage the complete Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Collaborate with team members to build scalable systems and features.
• Work closely with technical leaders to understand requirements and optimize applications.
• Use Docker and CircleCI to build reusable components.
• Gain hands-on experience by contributing to high-impact projects.
• Complete projects from start to finish within a 10-12 week timeframe.
• Support the migration effort to cloud-native solutions in Google Cloud.

Requirements
What We Are Looking For:

• 5-7 years of hands-on software development experience (open to flexible experience starting at 3 years).
• Expertise in Java or Scala.
• Experience with Docker and CircleCI is a plus.
• Knowledge of MySQL databases is a nice-to-have.
• Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Google Cloud migration or cloud-native solutions is highly desirable.

Team & Environment:

• Work with a collaborative 6-person team focused on headcount expansion.
• Be a key contributor to the migration of systems to ensure synchronization.
