Robert Half is Hiring an Accounts receivable Near LANSING, MI
Are you looking to contribute your skills at a well-respected organization as an Accounting Clerk? Robert Half is in need of an Accounting Clerk for a company in the Non-Profit industry who is experienced in supporting a department. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for matching donor donations, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Receivable (A/R). We offer a dynamic, team-oriented workspace. This is a short-term contract / temporary employment based in the Lansing, Michigan area.
Responsibilities
- Support Accounts Receivable: apply cash receipt, help with collection of past due balance, and process daily invoices/credit
- Resolve discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required
- Prepare statements and reports that require utilization of a number of sources
- Organize documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes
- Help Accounts Payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing
Requirements- Accurate, swift, data entry abilities
- Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with individuals of all backgrounds
- Alpha 6,000 - 8,000 kph experience
