Attending to the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department, this role works closely with and reports to the Accounting Manager. The primary focus of this role is matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. Your responsibilities
- Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed
- Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
- Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
- Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
- Execute full-cycle A/P
- Assist with internal and external audits as needed
- Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling
- Carry out additional projects as required
- Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department
