This Accounts Payable (A/P) Specialist position is at a dynamic organization with a growing team, and will require the candidate to match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. The opening for a permanent Accounts Payable Clerk is in the Phoenix, Arizona area.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate internal and external audits as needed
- Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed
- Carry out a full-cycle A/P
- Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned
- Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed
- Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling
- Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department
- Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners
