Our well-established team in Anchorage, AK is looking to hire a Night Operations Supervisor! The right candidate will be professional, engaging, and innovative. Customer service, flexibility, and a willingness to learn are a must!
Requirements:
- Strong communication, time management and leadership skills.
- Good working knowledge of the alcohol beverage industry required.
- Must have valid Class A driver's license and good driving record.
- Knowledge of the alcohol industry in Alaska preferred.
- Flexible work schedule.
- Strong computer knowledge and proficient with Microsoft office.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Able to maneuver 65 lbs.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise 10 to 15 employees.
- Train employees on proper order picking, proper use of voice pick equipment, product rotation and loading trucks.
- Inspects work for accuracy, neatness, and conformance of company policy and procedures.
- Follows and trains employees on proper DOT requirements and standards.
- Conducts department meetings (training on Safety and Compliance topics).
- Schedules and conducts training for warehouse personnel.
- Studies and standardizes procedures to improve productivity of staff.
- Prepare and conduct performance evaluations for assigned staff.
- Handle disciplinary action, as necessary.
