Our firm is growing so we are looking for a Human Resource Manager to join our team that has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks. The Human Resource Manager will be in charge of all HR tasks, such as managing payroll, hiring, onboarding, employee benefits, developing policies, fostering professional growth, and upholding corporate rules and procedures. The ideal applicant will have at least three years of HR experience, as well as a bachelor's degree in human resources or related field. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage full cycle recruiting process for candidates, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
  • Develop, implement, and execute hiring strategies for multiple requisitions.
  • Source candidates & build a strong network of candidates through expert use of online sourcing techniques, networking, referrals etc.
  • Implement new initiatives to increase pipeline and build employer brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with the department’s leadership team on problem solving, operating procedures, work planning, and other management issues, making recommendations for prioritizing and allocating human resources for new talent.
  • Establish process and procedures and evaluate their effectiveness to make decisions that best support business goals.

  • Meets with supervisors to provide guidance on addressing employee performance issues and on the disciplinary processes, while remaining neutral and serves as a resource not an advocate. Conducts investigations when necessary or directed.
  • Manage all employee benefits, including health insurance and 401K. Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding, manage recruiting process, working with supervisors and managers, and maintaining accurate employee files.
  • Formulate and update policies and procedures as requested by management.
  • Administer performance evaluation and professional development.
  • Maintains knowledge of HR trends, best practices, technologies, and regulatory changes.
  • Possible support for client HR needs on a case by case basis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Three or more years of experience in all HR functions
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality 
  • Self-motivated, with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Excellent organization skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively work with employees at all levels of the company
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to take on other tasks as needed
