Maintenance Mechanic Intern (Memphis Operations)
This role provides the person (s) hired the opportunity for hands-on learning while continuing his/her education in pursuit of a technical maintenance related degree.
Specific Intern Responsibilities - Spare Parts Rooms Reorganization as follows:

• Collecting information
• SAP Updates
• Parts labeling
• Reorganizing shelves
• Counting items

In addition to the Spare Parts portion of the work, the intern will also be involved with working closely with a senior maintenance technician “on the floor”, to gain real-world maintenance experience as well. 

Maintenance Intern Details:

• $20 per hour (no benefits unless hired FT)
• Degree must be in maintenance related area – mechanical, electrical (specific to what we do – not air conditioning, diesel, water purification, etc.)
• No more than 20 hours per week while in school
  • When school is out of session, with prior management approval, they can work up to 40 hours per week
• Riviana Foods will pay for the last year of schooling for the selected candidate (requires payback agreement expectations upon graduation
• Will need to complete drug/background screening
• Must have and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or better
