RiverWoods Exeter is Hiring an IT Business Analyst Near Exeter, NH

Overview

The RiverWoods Group is currently looking for an IT System Administrator to join our team based out of Exeter, NH supporting our communities in Exeter, Manchester, and Durham. The IT Business Analyst acts as the key liaison between the Information Technology Department and internal/external business partners.

In this role, the business analyst is responsible for gathering business requirements, creating and defining business solutions and providing project management as required for Information Technology initiatives. The ideal candidate should excel in defining business scope, risk/impact analysis, and documenting and improving business process flows.

Responsibilities

  • Liaison between internal RiverWoods functional departments and Information Technology. Establishes relationships with functional partners.
  • Works with functional partner leads to identify ways technology can help achieve organizational goals.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert by providing application technical support where required.
  • Analyzes the business needs, defines business requirements, and validates potential solutions/approaches with business and technical staff.
  • Gains knowledge of associated technology areas and assigned business functions to identify and document potential conflicts/synergies between technologies and business functions.
  • Writes and maintains accurate and current documentation regarding application(s) supported by the team. Elicit and clearly document business and system requirements.
  • Facilities and conducts user acceptance testing (UAT) for business application implementations.
  • Contacts vendors report and track escalations and obtain assistance with resolving issues.
  • Oversee necessary enhancements to add or maintain functionality of the application.
  • Participates in the policy and procedure development as it relates to security, downtime, backup operations, and disaster recovery activities.
  • Travel within NH to directly support our communities onsite as needed.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a Business Analyst preferably with Project Management experience.
  • Experience using project collaboration tools such as MS Teams, Asana or Jira.
  • Demonstrated experience with CRM applications (i.e. Salesforce, Dynamics)
  • Experience with system support; ongoing user management and training.
  • Excellent communication and analytic skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet target deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt efficiently to new technologies and changing business requirements.
  • Ability to work with frequent interruptions and respond appropriately to unexpected situations.
