RIVERSTONE COMMUNITIES is Hiring a Human Resource Generalist Near Bloomfield, MI

Are you someone who is passionate about Human Resources and working with people? Do you enjoy getting involved in a variety of things each day?

Now is a great time to become a member of a well established, nationwide, property management company. We are currently seeking a remote Human Resource Generalist to support our dynamic and FUN Human Resource team!

This individual's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist Hiring Managers to fill openings - 50% of work time will be spent on recruiting related activities
  • Follow our Hiring Process and then train others to it
  • Promote recruiting efforts on various job boards to ensure we are getting the most diverse pool of candidates
  • Handle HR requests as needed, within 24 hours
  • Understand how to use our payroll system and help with beginning payroll processing steps including time card exceptions and approvals
  • Facilitate Service Award Recognition program
  • Use technology to our advantage to streamline communication, productivity, morale etc.
  • Own and manage goals each quarter
  • Aid departments through the completion of HR projects
  • Other various duties as assigned

 Position Requirements:

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • 1-3 years of Human Resources specific experience (Assistant/Generalist)
  • 1-3 years of Recruiting experience
  • Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources related field
  • Ability to move quickly, but have strong attention to detail to meet necessary deadlines
  • Eager to learn and grow with an amazing team, be an information seeker
  • Comfortable attending majority of meetings over video chat - must be a master remote communicator
  • Strong sense of personal accountability, recognize the next step before it is given
  • At times, willing to work outside of your comfort zone to make challenging decisions that pose a potential risk to the organization
  • Open to sharing progress on projects and tasks, giving updates regularly to those involved
  • Have a strong customer service mindset
  • Willing and able to make independent, fact based decisions that impact the business
  • Outstanding organizational skills for maintaining larger projects and the ability to prioritize day to day tasks
  • No drama
  • Computer skills - including Google Suite, Microsoft Office and computer design programs (video editing, Adobe InDesign, Canva, Mailchimp, etc)
  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver’s license
  • Travel as needed (approx. 10-15%)
  • Willing to travel by airplane to attend company-wide meetings in person
Salary: $48,000/year, plus bonus potential (dependent upon experience)
