Overview

The role of the Staffing Manager at the Hebrew Home at Riverdale by RiverSpring Living, a world renowned long term care organization located in Riverdale - North Bronx is responsible for supervising the Staffing Coordinators, assisting the Vice President of Nursing and Assistant Directors in the management of the staffing operation of the nursing department. 

Responsibilities

This position will include preparing the time and attendance for payroll, which includes regular pay, leaves of absence, bereavement, overtime,charge position, vacation, holiday, sick days, and jury duty days. Preparing the master staffing schedule for the nursing units including scheduling annual vacations. Assisting in maintaining licenses and permits of all registered and practical nurses and the Certified Nurse’s Aide Certification and Re-Certification. Will provide backup to Staffing Coordinators, Administrative Assistants, and Nursing Operations Manager in their absence

Qualifications

An associate's Degree is required or a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a healthcare facility with related experience. Must possess strong organizational, writing, mathematical, and communication skills and excellent customer service. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
