The Office Manager will oversee the day to day operations of the office and the first floor common area. This role will organize and coordinate administrative duties and office procedures; will provide a welcoming atmosphere to all visitors to the community; respond to resident' requests; and provide any necessary assistance to residents, families and guests. Activities will also include but not limited to: general administrative support, hospitality, coordinating transportation for the residents, family, communication, resident files and records, management of the complaint process, staff communication, ensuring high level of organizational effectiveness and safety. The goal is to provide the Director with assistance in managing the needs of the residents, families, and staff by ensuring the maximum productivity and functioning of the overall building.

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or University with a major in Business Administration, Communications or related field.
A minimum of four years’ experience in a secretary/administrative assistant position in an office setting. Excellent oral, analytical, and written communication skills as well as superior interpersonal skills to work as a team member with all levels of the organizations’ employee population required. Excellent typing skills, knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows, as well as familiarity with database systems essential.
Must have the ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret general business correspondence, procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions and inquiries from employees, managers, customers, and the general public. Ability to function with minimal direction during stressful times.
