Riverlight Health is Hiring an Assistant Administrator (AIT) Near Wabasso, MN

Summary

The Administrator in Training (AIT) will learn key competencies of the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) role through gaining valuable experience that refines and develops the qualities needed to become a successful servant leader. The AIT reports to and works collaboratively with the LNHA (Administrator) to direct the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern long-term care facilities to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be always provided to our residents. Follow all established policies and procedures to include nursing care procedures, safety regulations, human resources policies, departmental policies and procedures to assure that quality resident care and an effective operation can be maintained. The AIT works collaboratively with the Administrator on establishing and implementing effective goals that account for fiscal responsibilities, planning for maintenance and growth, and align with organizational strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Adminsitration or similar field; if degree is not in healthcare, additional education may be required per state regulations.
  • Nursing Home Administrator’s license and/or eligibility to take the NAB exam to become licensed within one year is necessary to be considered for this role. LNHAs newly licensed that desire additional growth and development and/or those with prior AIT experience are also of interest.
  • Experience serving in a role where you have coached, managed and/or developed others; healthcare experience is favorable.
  • Financial literacy.
  • Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
