PFB Custom Homes , a national company and a division of a publicly traded corporation; with several home brands in the timber frame, log and energy efficient sectors, is seeking a creative Architectural Designer. This is an entry-level position perfect for a recent college graduate.

Candidates must be very detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast paced environment. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create unique high end custom designs for clients utilizing PFB products.
• Create conceptual/schematic designs and Construction drawings that meet building codes.
• Coordinate with consultants needed for design and construction.
• On-site design meetings and site visits.
• Work directly with Project Managers, Engineers and builders through project completion.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors Degree of Architecture required
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2014-2017, 3D-Modelings and Photoshop
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Abstract thinking skills
• Creative individual that works well with all personality types.
• Understanding of Construction Drawings and Design concepts
